INTERAC e-Transfer Request Money is a feature based on INTERAC e-Transfer service allowing merchants to receive money from any participating Canadian bank and financial institution.

The end-user accepts the request sent by text message or email and then selects their bank. Once logged in to their online bank they select an account and complete the transaction.

The fast way to send payment

  1. The merchant sends an INTERAC e-Transfer Request Money to the end-user by text message or e-mail prompting them to accept it.

  2. The end-user then logs into their online or mobile banking and selects INTERAC e-Transfer Request Money from within their online banking portal.

  3. The end-user selects the account to debit.

  4. Upon confirmation of the payment through their financial institution’s secure online banking system, the end-user may return to the merchant's website, where the transaction will be successful.

Gigadat Inc and the client's financial institution exchange funds using established and reliable banking procedures. Only notifications and deposit instructions transit by email or text message. There are several security measures in place to ensure a reliable transaction.
